Just another day around here. We stayed in so I could try and get some of this laundry completed...my dryer has been messed up, so it takes forever to dry the clothes (don't have the extra money to have someone fix it right now either). I got out paper, glue, glitter, etc and the kids made some Halloween pictures today. My son loves getting all the stuff out and just thanks me for it. Today he was more interested in cutting everything up - it was the first time I let him use scissors. After making their pictures, we really didn't do much the rest of the day. Pretty boring, I know!

Conference Time

Today was my daughter's parent-teacher conference. As usual, before we went into the school I had to try and talk to my 3 year old son about how he needed to act! For the most part he did ok, but he was somewhat of a distraction during our conference. The teacher had her own 3 year old boy at home, so she understood his behavior! And as expected, the conference went well. My daughter is now in 5th grade and I've never had any real issues with her behavior or her grades at school...she's always done well and I'm very proud of that.

After leaving the school, we stopped by the mall and a couple of other stores. We have not yet picked out Halloween costumes, so were doing a little shopping around for them. We found nothing! So, I plan to just drop by Walmart and pick up a costume for my son that he already likes. My daughter is wearing a costume she already had.

Nothing much else going on today, other than a couple of small annoyances. My parking lot in front of my apartment is being fixed, so we can't park out there for two days. I've been parking over at the next building which isn't far away. And then when we got home, I had a call from my apartment office informing me that maintenance entered my place because of leak downstairs. They said it was nothing, but I really (and I mean really) can't stand when they enter my place when I'm not here. Anyways, I got over both things.

Oh, one milestone for my son, he's finally counting to 10 on his own! He actually started this a couple of days ago. He gets irritated though, because I keep asking him to count for me and he says "I already did that". He just turned 3 at the end of September and for awhile there I was a little concerned because he didn't seem to be progressing as I thought he should. But he seems to be picking up fast...if only I could get him fully potty trained!

It's been one week since I started exercising (again) and I feel absolutely no change! I only exercised five days and really need to step it up this week. I so wish that I was a morning person...I set my alarm, it goes off, and then I end up falling back asleep until the kids wake up. I'm going to continue to try, because if I can get my butt out of bed, then I can jump on my spin bike and exercise longer and in peace (no kids screaming, etc). I need and want to lose at least 10-15 lbs, so that I can get back to feeling better about myself. I should have already lost this weight, but everything else got in the way - feeling stressed, depressed, whatever the case may be. My only true excuse is ME! I wish I could blame someone else, but I know that I can't. And exercising could relieve some stress too, which I'm sure I'll need this week! My daughter doesn't have school all week, so I'll be home with both of my kids, which means more screaming and fighting between the two of them (daughter 10; son 3). I hope it's somewhat nice out though, so we can run out to the park for awhile.

But then I also started a website that lists everything that was on my blog, plus more, so I've decided to change this up. As my title states, I'm a single mom, so I've chosen to use this blog to talk about my day to day activities. I warn you, I lead a pretty boring life right now (it didn't use to be like this) and I'm going through some stuff, so I may vent alot! I imagine I'll still list different programs I've joined, but the blog will not be restricted to just that type of info. I'm using this as a way to possibly help me get out alot that's on my mind, which will in turn relieve some stress (I hope). I'm not the most open person with my thoughts and feelings, so this should work out well since I don't have to talk directly to anyone!

AGLOCO ~ Own the Internet

I just joined AGLOCO™ (a global community), because their slogan ‘Own the Internet’ caught my eye. It is the newest thing on the internet – an economic network – like a social network only about money instead of just friends.

I joined for these reasons:

I might make a lot of money if this works (and I have nothing to lose if it doesn't).
I use the internet just as I always have - and still make money.
I like the idea of getting my share of all the billions of wealth being created on the internet - even if I am not going to be a millionaire because of this.
The reason I think I might make a lot of money is that I'm inviting people to join and AGLOCO rewards people who help build the network.
I used the AGLOCO member calculator - I can get over 5,000 shares a month if I sign up 10 good people who recruit more new members.

I thought I would discuss the links I have listed under 'Free Online Programs'. These are some of the sites I am a member of where you can earn some quick cash. Now, they are not going to make you rich, however, every little bit counts (in my opinion)!

1. Inbox Dollars ~ Read emails, complete offers and refer friends. You'll receive $5 to join the site and $5 for every friend you refer.

2. myLot ~ Earn money by posting a new discussion, responding to a current discussion, commenting on a current discussion, or referring friends.

3. Readers Paid ~ I have to say this is my favorite right now. It takes only 5 minutes a day to jump into your RP Inbox and click on ads to earn. You can earn more by completing offers and referring friends.

4. Take the Internet Back ~ I'm not too sure how this one is going to be yet. It just started at the end of November so it is very new. You do get $10 when you join though. And you'll be reading emails.

I've been searching for quite some time now for a legitimate work at home opportunity. I know there are many out there, but trying to get past all the scams, can be overwhelming. What you'll find here are some things I'm involved with and I welcome any suggestions that others have to offer. I'm trying to find a 'real' job as well as a 'business opportunity' that will generate the income that I need and want.
